Who should attend the 2013 Conference & Expo "Rock Star HR"?
The conference is designed to educate, motivate and develop managers and individual employees who handle, or are involved in, any part of the human resource function of their company. It offers beginning, intermediate and advanced level education sessions for businesses of all sizes. Speakers include national, regional and local experts in the human resource field.

The 2013 OKHR Conference, "Rock Star HR" will be held at the luxurious Embassy Suite Hotel and Convention Center, 2501 Conference Dr. Norman, OK 73069.
How do I get my HRCI credits for participation?
A form will be provided to attendees to keep track of credit hours. They must follow directions to HRCI credits.
How many credits have been approved for the conference?
Sessions and speakers are in the planning stage.
Are there any one-day registrations?
Yes, a one-day pass is available for individuals who come from organizations with 25 or fewer employees.
What if I have to send someone in my place at the last minute?
To best accommodate your needs, the OKHR Conference does allow for substitution of registrations with certain restrictions. If the original registrant was eligible for a membership discount and the substitute does not meet the eligibility criteria, the substitute will be responsible for the balance of the registration fee and NOTICE OF SUBSTITUTION must be provided in writing by original registrant or an authorized representative of the registrant's organization either prior to or at the registration desk on the day of the event. Prior notice should be emailed to Registration Chair at .
What are the rules regarding cancellation of a registration?
We recognize that unforeseeable circumstances and emergencies do occur. Paper registrants must submit cancellations in writing to by May 1, 2013. A $50 fee ($25 for students) on cancellations received from on or before May 1, 2013. Cancellations after May 2, 2013 will be non-refundable.
What does the registration price include?
The registration price includes unlimited attendance of all education sessions offered during all three days of the event, free access during the conference to our Exhibition Hall, kick-off receptions on May 8th, lunch on May 9 and 10th, full access to three nationally known keynote speakers, and unlimited networking opportunities with over 500 state and regional human resource professionals. All attendees, vendors and speakers may attend the State Director's Social, Thursday, May 9, free of charge to listen and dance to the sounds of The Wise Guys, Oklahoma City's best retro-rock band.
Are group discounts available?
Group discounts are available to groups of 10 or more! If your company registers 10 or more employees and submits payment at the time of registration, you will get a 5% discount on your total registration price. The group discount is for regular rates only and cannot be applied to the Early Bird or any other discounted rate. For more information, email .
How can payments be made?
We accept checks and credit cards. To pay by check, please make your check payable to Oklahoma State Council for Human Resource Management, and send it via US Mail, to: Oklahoma State Council for Human Resource Management, P O Box 248875, Oklahoma City, OK 73125. This is a remittance address only. To pay by credit card, please register online.
What are the alternative housing options?
The Embassy Suite is the host-conference hotel. Alternate arrangements have been made with the Hilton Garden Inn nearby.
Will there be a PHR/SPHR review class this year?
Yes. It will be held on Tuesday, May 7 and conclude on May 8, 2013.
Will my contact information be shared with others?
General attendee information is shared with our Resource Partners as a part of their vendor package.
