Kyle is a proven strategic human resources business partner and executive coach with over 30 years of experience in successfully blending human capital strategies with business opportunities allowing a company to leverage their human capital to optimize organization’s growth and performance. He has led Human Resources and Organization Development professionals in providing support in the areas of strategic planning, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, internal communications, training, executive coaching, recruiting and organizational and leadership development. Kyle’s client list includes Devon Energy, Bison Oilfield Services, Chickasaw Nation, Chesapeake Energy, American Fidelity Assurance Companies, Global Health Insurance, Oklahoma City Zoo, Dobson Technologies, Oklahoma State University, EMBARK Transit Authority, Christus Healthcare and the cities of Newcastle and Oklahoma City.
Kyle has broad expertise in assessing all the Human Resources functional areas and determining overall effectiveness, the impact the talent management has on the organization as well as recommending market place best practices as solutions. His skills in analyzing talent base, talent acquisition and promotion practices, regulatory compliance, learning and development programs, creating corporate culture as well as talent assessment of the team members has resulting in driving organizational efficiencies and solutions for business leaders. He has led due diligent teams in accessing HR functions and talent management in over 15 acquisitions as well as numerous internal company HR audits.
Since 2010 Kyle has been an Adjunct Faculty Member and Instructor of Human Resources and Organizational Development courses including the Human Resources Certification Preparation Course at Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City. Additionally, he has taught a HR Certification Preparation Course at several of the Oklahoma Technology Center and currently teaches the course at the Moore Norman Technology Center. He has completed post graduate work at the University of Michigan in Strategic Human Resources Planning and is a certified Senior Human Resources Professional by the Human Resources Certification Institute and Senior Certified Professional by the Society of Human Resources Management. He is a certified instructor in over 70 leadership development courses including Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability, Non-Harassment Training, Business as Unusual (Change Management) and Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. He is an Everything DiSC Authorized Partner providing a suite of learning applications, DiSC Assessments and business development support. Kyle holds on Executive Coaching Certification from the Association for Talent Development.
He supports the Human Resources profession by serving on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma State Council for Human Resource Management and the Oklahoma City Human Resources Society. Currently, Kyle is the current immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma City Metro Employers Council.
Steve is a Talent Management and Organizational Development leader with tactical and strategic experience building and implementing solutions in a variety of industries.
His specialties include strategy development, succession planning, talent reviews, performance management, training and facilitation, high potential programs, assessment tools, leadership coaching, vendor negotiations, inclusion, virtual instruction, and competency model development.
Steve is certified to administer numerous leadership and professional education courses and assessments including DiSC, MBTI, TKI, Birkman, Hogan, and Lominger 360. My facilitation skills are grounded in the following programs; Blanchard, Covey, Vital Smarts, Inside/Out, Interaction Associates, Achieve Global, and Action Management. Many of these have been blended into learning and development solutions that I have created throughout the years.
