Evolve: The Transformational Formula to Continued Success
In this presentation, Brandon Brazeel shares his formula to help you, your HR team and your organization lay the foundation to continued success.
This formula has made a significant impact on not only his leadership journey, but also in every aspect of his life. His mindset + Grit = Continued Success formula is simple, but takes dedication, practice and continuous improvement to master. Brandon will share key insights, applications and stories that has helped him build his foundation of the growth mindset and grit. The application and his determination to never give up has paved his way to becoming the Chief People Officer (CPO) for Sherwood Companies.
Early in my life I discovered my passion for helping everyone around me be better, and that has stayed my passion and focus all of these years later. I started out getting my first management position while I was still in high school because the company saw maturity in me for my age and my drive to not only make myself great, but also everyone else around me.
I spent about five years gaining management experience in the entertainment type industry as a manager before I decided it was time to go to college. During my time as a full-time student, I continued to work in various industries from construction to leasing apartments to the financial industry. I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management and minor in Economics from Oklahoma State University.
From there I managed banks for about fours years before I was recruited over to the Human Resource side of the business. I have now been in the Human Resources field since 2007. I completed my MBA at Oklahoma State University in 2010 and achieved my Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 2011, and achieved my SHRM-SCP in 2015. I also teach HR, Leadership and Management classes at a university in Tulsa, Oklahoma as an adjunct professor. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Tulsa Area Human Resource Association (TAHRA) since 2011, and I was the 2013 President. I have also been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2011.
Currently I am the Chief Human Resources Officer for Sherwood Companies.
I really enjoy coaching and training to help everyone I can succeed in whatever they do. With that in mind, I decided to start this site so I could share some of my stories and things I believe will help others be better.
